A leading client is looking for a SAP Technical specialist, you will have at least 5 years SAP Technial experience working with:
SAP R*3 Web Application Server
Knowledge of SAP BW (1-2 years experience) a distinct advantage
Strong General IT technical skills, including Client*Server technologies, IT networks and TCP*IP, and Oracle database administration.
Ability to script in DOS, Korn shells, and Oracle SQL
Knowledge of Oracle Pl*Sql
Knowledge of IXOS an advantage.
The role responsibilties:
Support and Development of the technical infrastructure (Development, Testing and Production environments) of SAP (including SAP BW) and associated systems and interfaces at the London HQ Responsible for the maintenance of the technical architecture for the above systems, including the planning for on-going upgrades required to maintain system performance and business continuity.
Support the technical requirements and transition of SAP systems from implementation to a live supported environment.
Perform, technical enhancements to the SAP Web Application server environment including the application of Support packages, kernel and front end software upgrades.
Assist, as required, in the ongoing phased implementation of SAP across the client and Resident Offices. Manage project implementations as required.
Produce and present project proposals and budget requirements for ongoing Core systems technical support and future projects.
Perform technical administration of other core systems, including cover to other front office systems (e.g. Summit and SWIFT).
Undertake tasks as directed by management.
